Tasks: Adjust, repair or replace parts and components of commercial transport truck systems. Confirm findings with supervisor to determine whether to repair or replace unit. Discuss work with supervisor. Inspect mechanical units to locate faults and malfunctions. Adjust, repair or replace parts and components of truck-trailer systems. Perform scheduled maintenance service. Complete reports to record problems and work performed. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses: Truck and Transport Mechanic Trade Certification.

Transportation/travel information: Own vehicle. Valid driver's licence.

Work conditions and physical capabilities: Attention to detail. Manual dexterity.

Own tools/equipment: Steel-toed safety boots.

Personal suitability: Flexibility. Reliability. Team player. Punctuality.

Employment terms options: Early morning.

Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year.
