As a Quality Assurance Inspector , you'll play a key role in ensuring packaging operations meet established quality standards, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and inspection requirements. You'll work closely with production teams to verify compliance, support investigations, promote strong documentation practices, and help foster a culture where quality comes first. Verify packaging orders, materials, line clearance activities, and cleaning processes to ensure production starts safely and accurately.
Quality Inspections: Perform in-process sampling, testing, and inspections to confirm products consistently meet established specifications and quality standards.
Material Verification: Confirm products, packaging components, lot numbers, and release documentation are accurate and compliant before use.
Quality Review: Audit production records, investigate discrepancies, support root cause analysis, and contribute to corrective and preventive actions.
Compliance Leadership: Champion Good Documentation Practices, data integrity, and GMP compliance while providing guidance and support to production teams.
Validation & Testing: Execute validation protocols, complete sampling and testing activities, and review results against acceptance criteria. Support the release of incoming materials and finished goods, ensuring products meet quality requirements before distribution. College diploma or bachelor's degree in a science-related field,
or an equivalent combination of education and experience. ~1+ years of experience in Quality Assurance within a GMP-regulated pharmaceutical, healthcare, or manufacturing environment is an asset. ~ Flexibility to work rotating shifts, between afternoon (3:00 pm - 11:00 pm) and night (11:00 pm - 7:00 am) shifts. ~ Strong communication and relationship-building skills with the ability to collaborate across teams. ~ Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and Outlook. ~ Additional Quality Assurance or GMP-related training or certifications are considered an asset.
