As part of a multi-disciplinary team, the Mental Health Counsellor provides a range of mental health services to children and youth within a First Nations cultural and socioeconomic setting.
Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work or Clinical Psychology Two years of related experience with responsibility for providing a range of community-based mental health services. With the widespread need for mental health support, placements can be secured in Vanderhoof, Fort St. Placements available will depend on current staffing levels, available funding, and the communities’ patient loads.
Recognize the value of Carrier Sekani Knowledge holders and language speakers. The target hiring range for this position is $39.7452 to $51.471 per hour. Placement within the wage range is dependent on the applicant’s role specific knowledge, skills, abilities, related experience and in consideration of factors such as market conditions and internal equity.
