The Maintenance

Millwright is responsible for keeping all equipment running in good working order through preventative maintenance and repair. Maintain all equipment to required standards and be responsive to production needs and equipment failures Perform daily inspections of equipment,



filling out inspection sheets and making note of any items needing repair Perform routine preventative maintenance on equipment Perform routine maintenance on buildings systems Perform general welding repairs Responsible to follow the Occupational Health and Safety Act and all Can Art Company Policies Must have 433A Industrial Millwright license Minimum 3 years of millwright experience in an industrial manufacturing environment Ability to install, maintain, test, troubleshoot, and repair electrical equipment Good knowledge of hydraulic circuits/diagnostics, and basic electrical knowledge Proficient in welding PLC experience is an asset Basic knowledge of Microsoft suites and Megamation program is an asset Previous experience with metal processing, heavy stamping, or die casting equipment is an asset Solid interpersonal skills that allow for working effectively in a diverse work environment Ability to take initiative on tasks and work with minimal supervision Knowledge of health and safety best practices in a manufacturing environment Eligible for overtime (as applicable) Plant Environment Twelve hour rotating continental shift DIVERSITY AND EQUAL OPPORTUNITY EMPLOYMENT Can Art is an equal chance employer committed to diversity and inclusion.
