Montessori Casa Assistant

Casa Classroom (ages 3–6)

We are looking for an Early Childhood Assistant to join our well‑developed 3–6‑year‑old Casa program. We are an accredited Montessori school that emphasizes hands‑on learning and developing the child’s best potential.

Responsibilities

- Observing and redirecting students in the classroom
- Daily preparation and organizing of learning areas and materials.
- Maintaining a positive and welcoming environment for children, parents, and coworkers
- Following directions from the Lead Casa Guide and maintaining flexibility




- Working both as a part of the team and independently to ensure best success.

Qualifications

- Early Childhood Education Diploma, Undergraduate Degree or Education Degree
- Montessori Assistance Course (3‑6)
- Montessori Experience would be an asset
- Standard First Aid and CPR Certification
- Current Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Screening
- Social Development Check (done upon offer)
- High degree of professionalism
- Strong work ethic
- Strong communication and time management skills
- Willingness to expand on education
- Must like working outdoors in all weather
