We are looking for a Python / React Developer for one of our clients, an investment bank set in Montreal

Role Overview :

The primary mission of the team is to provide (and maintain) a web application for control/supervision/first line of defense and reporting to Trading desk managers as part of the implementation of regulator recommendations.

Key Responsibilities

- Understand business needs and translate them into technical requirements.
- Participate in the maintenance (support, development) of current tools (CI/CD, Unit Testing).




- Participate in the development of Web tools (React/Python/ELK Stack/SQL).
- Work as part of a team using Agile practices and collaborate with product owners.
- Maintain strong relationships with all requested departments and users

Requirements

- Experience with relational databases (such as MS SQL)
- Good knowledge of version control systems, especially with platforms like GitHub or GitLab and issue tracking system (JIRA for Scrum boards)
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to tackle complex technical challenges
- Strong communication skills to articulate technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, team-oriented, and fast-paced workplace
- Language: Fluent in English, French is a plus.
