Veracite also prepares mortgage and private lending expert reports for litigation and regulatory proceedings across Canada, leveraging senior regulatory and financial-services expertise. Its work focuses on mortgage broker standards of care, suitability and disclosure practices, lending structures, and lender protections, with reports that are evidence-driven, organized, and ready for use in court and regulatory settings.

Role Description The mortgage administrator role is a full-time remote position responsible for supporting the preparation, administration, and documentation of mortgage and private lending files. Day-to-day tasks include collecting and organizing mortgage-related documentation, maintaining accurate records of transactions and encumbrances, and assisting in the preparation of summaries for expert reports and internal reviews.

The role involves coordinating with internal experts, legal and financial advisers, and external stakeholders to ensure timely information flow and clear communication.



The mortgage administrator will also monitor key dates and milestones, help track lender protections and disclosure requirements, and contribute to process improvements to enhance accuracy, efficiency, and regulatory alignment.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Finance and Investments skills, with the ability to understand mortgage structures, lending terms, and basic risk concepts.
- Candidates should possess solid Financial Services and Customer Service experience, ideally within banking, mortgage administration, trust, or related sectors.
- Candidates should possess excellent Communication skills, including clear written documentation, professional email correspondence, and team-oriented communication with internal and external stakeholders.
- Relevant skills such as attention to detail, organizational and time-management abilities, and proficiency with standard office and financial software tools.
- Post-secondary education in finance, business, economics, or a related field is preferred; experience with mortgage administration, private lending, or regulatory environments is an asset.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment, handle confidential information responsibly, and adapt to evolving regulatory and market practices.
