We have a business internet service at the site. Below is a picture of the modem. What we need is someone to log into the modem and set up rules to allow our access control panel to talk over the internet.

Duration: Expected 4 onsite hours

Schedule: ASAP

Scope of Work: Configure the firewall to solve this issue:

"We have installed Access Control at the site, but need someone to assist with setting up the firewall rules / port forwarding. We need to set up our access control panel to talk over the raw internet, and something is blocking it from going out. We have a business internet service at the site. Below is a picture of the modem.



What we need is someone to log into the modem and set up rules to allow our access control panel to talk over the internet. "

An IP configuration issue on the access panel. There is no firewall or router. The access panel is connected directly to the modem.

Possible issues

- The access panel just needs its IP address changed to sit on the internal network in accordance to the IP you use to access the modem.

- IP (static not the same exact IP or Public IP the modem uses)

- DNS

- SUBNET

- GATEWAY

- If ports are configurable on the modem, it may need to be reset to default.

They are looking to get someone to take care of this, this week, as soon as possible.
