Become a Clinical Therapist at the Community Counselling Centre of Nipissing in North Bay. This full-time role focuses on providing effective mental health and addiction support services. You will play a critical role in delivering short-term, solution-focused counseling for individuals and families.
Your responsibilities will include assessments, treatment planning, and community engagement, all while applying a trauma-informed approach in collaboration with partners and stakeholders. Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough assessments and develop treatment strategies
- Provide psychotherapy services addressing mental health needs
- Manage group therapy sessions and educational workshops
- Actively participate in crisis resolution
- Connect clients with community resources and advocate for them Requirements:
- Master's degree in Social Work or related field
- Registered with a relevant regulatory body in Ontario
- At least 2 years of clinical experience in social services
- Solid understanding of trauma-informed care models
