This permanent position requires expertise in both English and French for producing relevant news across multiple platforms. As a French Journalist, your role encompasses writing news stories, conducting in-depth research, and producing reports for radio and television.
Engage with local communities to develop story ideas that resonate with Canadians. You will be tasked with the technical aspects of media production while maintaining high journalistic standards. Key Responsibilities:
- Write and adapt news copy for various formats
- Plan and field-produce television reports effectively
- Maintain a local network for story sourcing
- Conduct interviews and assess news relevance
- Edit and format audio/video for digital platforms Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or related qualifications
- At least three years' experience in journalism
- Solid command of French and proficiency in English
- Knowledgeable about CBC/Radio-Canada’s standards
