Job Title: OpenText Exstream Template Configurator

Location: Markham, ON

Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled OpenText Exstream Developer to join our team and contribute to the design, development, and optimization of document generation solutions within the Property & Casualty (P&C;) Insurance domain. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with OpenText Exstream (including Cloud Native edition), strong SQL capabilities, and a sharp analytical mindset to support data-driven communications and system integration.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design and build templates in OpenText Exstream to meet business and regulatory requirements.
- Develop and maintain scalable document generation solutions.
- Integrate Exstream with enterprise systems and insurance platforms.
- Translate business and technical specifications into maintainable code.
- Optimize existing solutions for performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Support SaaS implementations using the Cloud Native edition of OpenText Exstream.
- Write and maintain SQL scripts for data extraction,



transformation, and automation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including business analysts, testers, and product owners.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning and reviews.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

- 3+ years of experience with OpenText Exstream (HP Exstream / OTX), including real time and batch processing.
- Strong understanding of P&C; Insurance workflows, including policy lifecycle (New Business, Renewal, Cancellation).
- Proficiency in SQL, PL/SQL, and database design.
- Experience with Spring Boot, XML, XSLT, and scripting languages.
- Robust analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with customer communication workflows and document composition.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in an Agile workplace.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience with cloud-native architectures and SaaS deployments
