Richelieu Hardware, a leading specialty hardware company, is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to manage the evening shift at its Ville Saint‑Laurent distribution center.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise a team of approximately 20 warehouse employees on the evening shift
- Plan and coordinate daily receiving, order preparation, and shipping activities
- Ensure operational priorities and delivery deadlines are met
- Support, motivate, and develop your team members
- Monitor performance and maintain a positive and safe work environment
- Participate in resolving operational issues and in continuous process improvement
- Collaborate with other supervisors to ensure an efficient transition between shifts
- Ensure compliance with work procedures and health and safety standards
Required Qualifications
- Supervisory experience in a warehouse, distribution, manufacturing, or logistics environment
- Positive leadership and the ability to engage and motivate a team
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Problem‑solving and decision‑making abilities
- Basic to intermediate computer skills (Excel, operational systems, WMS or ERP)
- Good communication skills in French and functional English
Preferred Qualifications (Assets)
- Experience in a unionized workplace
- Knowledge of performance indicators (KPIs)
- Familiarity with forklifts and warehouse operations
- College diploma or equivalent experience
