Opening Line Cook – The Park Kitchen & Bar, Quarry Park The Park Kitchen & Bar – Quarry Park is looking for an experienced Opening Line Cook to join our kitchen team.

Position: Opening Line Cook The Opening Line Cook is responsible for preparing the kitchen and line for daily service. This position requires someone who is organized, reliable, and able to work independently while maintaining our food quality, cleanliness, and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Set up and fully stock all line stations before service
- Prepare ingredients and complete opening prep according to par levels
- Cook and prepare menu items according to recipes and presentation standards
- Check food quality, freshness, labels, and proper storage
- Follow FIFO and food-safety procedures
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation
- Monitor product levels and communicate shortages to kitchen leadership
- Work efficiently with the kitchen team during busy service
- Assist with receiving, prep, and other kitchen duties as required

Requirements




- Minimum 2 years of professional kitchen/line cook experience
- Previous opening shift experience is an asset
- Strong knowledge of food preparation and kitchen safety
- Reliable, punctual, and organized
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Must be available for opening/day shifts, including weekends as required

Pay $17.00–$19.00 per hour, based on experience.
