As we expand our operations, we are seeking experienced overnight bakers to join our team.

Ideally, this individual would be passionate about sourdough and the artisanal bread baking process on an industrial scale. We will provide full, hands-on training of the sourdough process, as well as making products such as baguettes, focaccia, ciabatta.

The opening is at our Riverside location at 635 Queen Street East. Come bake with the best!

Previous experience in a commercial restaurant or bakery setting is a requirement!

Daily Tasks

- Mix dough
- Follow recipes and scaling out flour and other ingredients accurately
- Shape baguettes and sourdough loaves
- Bake bread
- Daily cleaning duties
- Lead team of bakers through the daily task list
- Maintain a positive and efficient work environment

Requirements

- An interest in the bread baking process on an industrial scale
- At least 1 year of previous baking experience in a commercial setting:



either restaurant or bakery
- Weekend availability
- Working overnight shift. 4 day work week, 10 hour shifts. 3 day weekend.
- Shift times for this position are a combination of:

7pm - 5am 8pm - 6am

11pm - 9am

- Ability to lift at least 25kg and endurance to work on your feet for the entire shift
- Eligibility to work in Canada.
