The Legal
Assistant role contributes to efficient day-to-day operations by providing clerical and administrative support to the Litigation & Dispute Resolution lawyers in Fasken’s Vancouver office. Administrative tasks, such as email and calendar management, meeting coordination, processing incoming and outgoing mail, preparing expense reports, handling invoices, and disbursements Prepare, format, and proofread a variety of legal documents, including correspondence, pleadings, affidavits, lists of documents, and agreements Legal Administrative Assistant certificate from an accredited post-secondary institution ~3+ years of commercial litigation experience,
preferably in a large firm ~ Strong understanding of Supreme Court litigation procedure and the Rules of Court ~ Familiarity with Foreclosures is an asset ~ Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 (including Teams and SharePoint) and legal software such as iManage, Adobe, Docusign, and Chrome River ~ Ability to work independently with a high degree of accountability and minimal supervision We offer a comprehensive salary and benefits package that is very competitive, together with opportunities for personal and professional growth.
