Current Need

- The School of Allied Health Sciences is seeking to expand its pool of Contract Paramedic Instructors .

Role Description

- Deliver classroom, laboratory, and simulation-based instruction.
- Facilitate practical skills training and scenario-based learning.
- Evaluate student performance through assignments, skills assessments.

- Provide constructive feedback to support student success.
- Foster an engaging, inclusive, and supportive learning environment.




- Contribute to curriculum enhancement and program quality initiatives.

Qualifications

- Experience teaching, mentoring, precepting, or training healthcare professionals or students.
- Experience facilitating and evaluating simulation-based learning, including

GRS assessments and OSCEs , is preferred.Solid teaching experience with a focus on facilitating engaging instructional activities and effectively assessing students' learning outcomes.

- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency with educational technology and online learning platforms.
- Commitment to equity, diversity, inclusion, and student success.

- Postsecondary teaching experience is an asset.

Education & Experience

- Current or recent experience as a Primary Care Paramedic, Advanced Care Paramedic, or related emergency health services professional.

- Strong knowledge of patient assessment, clinical decision-making, communication, teamwork, and professional practice.
