Become a part-time Community Health Worker with the Vancouver Island Health Authority, aiding clients in daily living. This role involves crucial travel, focusing on patient independence from 7 PM to 11 PM. You'll join a committed health care team responsible for providing personal care and support to clients in their homes.
This includes executing delegated tasks and developing effective plans of care. A valid BC driver's license and Home Support/Resident Care Attendant certification are required for this role. Key Responsibilities:
- Assist clients with personal care and daily living
- Implement care plans under multidisciplinary guidance
- Travel regularly between various health care sites
- Communicate effectively with clients and their families
- Uphold safety and quality in all services provided Requirements:
- Certificate in Health Care Assistance or equivalent
- Valid BC driver's license and Food Secure Certificate
- Current registration in good standing with the BC Care Aide Registry
- Ability to perform physical job requirements
- Capable of working independently Maximize client independence and enrich lives in your role as a Community Health Worker.
