Responsibilities
- Prepare a variety of baked goods, including pastries, cookies, and other desserts with precision and creativity
- Decorate cakes and pastries using various techniques to meet presentation standards
- Follow recipes accurately while maintaining consistency in taste and appearance
- Assist with food handling procedures to ensure safety and cleanliness in the kitchen
- Package baked items efficiently for retail or delivery purposes while maintaining quality standards
- Support food preparation tasks such as mixing, portioning, and assembling desserts
- Maintain a clean and organized work station,
adhering to food safety regulations at all times
Qualifications
- Proven experience in baking, pastry arts, or a related culinary field; restaurant experience is highly valued
- Strong skills in decorating and food presentation techniques
- Knowledge of food handling safety protocols and kitchen sanitation practices
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a quick-paced environment
- Excellent customer service skills to engage with guests positively when needed
- Familiarity with food industry standards for baking, packaging, and food safety regulations
- Enthusiasm for continuous learning and developing new pastry skills
