McDougall Energy is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Analytics Engineer to join our Business Analytics & Reporting team. Reporting to the Manager, Business Analytics and Reporting, this role is responsible for building and supporting end-to-end analytics solutions, from data integration and modeling to dashboard development and reporting, helping drive consistent, data-informed decisions across the organization.

Building and maintaining curated analytical datasets Creating dimensional models,
fact/dimension tables and data marts Writing and optimizing SQL views Establishing reusable datasets that can feed Tableau and other Business Intelligence tools Data quality testing and validation Creating documentation and data lineage Working with Business Analysts and business stakeholders to translate requirements into data structures Preparing the organization for future front-end/visualization technologies Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Information Systems or Business Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance would be considered an asset Experience working with Tableau, advanced SQL, data modelling, DBT and cloud data platforms Strong proficiency working with Microsoft Office; specifically in Excel Demonstrated ability to manage in a fast-paced workplace with ability to manage a high volume of data;
