Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Sales Associate to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for customer service and a strong ability to drive sales. As a Sales Associate, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers while effectively promoting our products and ensuring an engaging shopping experience. You will play a key role in maintaining store standards and supporting the overall success of our retail operations.

Responsibilities

- Provide outstanding customer service by greeting customers, assisting with inquiries, and addressing concerns promptly.
- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently, handling cash transactions and ensuring accurate cash handling.
- Conduct product demonstrations to enhance customer understanding and promote sales.
- Engage in upselling techniques to maximize sales opportunities.
- Maintain merchandising standards by organizing product displays and ensuring shelves are stocked appropriately.
- Assist in inventory management, including stocking shelves and conducting regular inventory checks.
- Supervise junior staff members when required, providing guidance and support to ensure smooth operations.
- Utilize retail math skills to manage sales transactions and maintain accurate records.




- Communicate effectively with team members and customers, demonstrating strong phone etiquette when handling inquiries.

Qualifications

- Previous experience in retail sales or a grocery store environment is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage effectively with diverse clientele.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions and managing inventory accurately.
- Experience with cashiering and cash handling procedures is essential.
- Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply as it enhances communication with customers.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are required for effective interaction with customers and team members.
- Supervisory experience is a plus, demonstrating leadership capabilities within a retail setting.
