Positions: Permaculture Intern

Organization: Whole Village Property Cooperative Inc

Location: This is an on-farm position living among community; candidates are welcome from anywhere in Canada or travelling through North America. We are located in Caledon, Ontario, just north of the GTA (near Orangeville & Guelph)

Whole Village Ecovillage offers a unique opportunity to live in an intentional community throughout the growing season, working with residents to maintain a 191 acre permaculture designed farm.

Your learning experience will include planting and caring for trees, edible forests, fruit, vegetables and herbs. Some poultry and cattle care,



eco-construction, haying and other farm tasks will add to your summer program. You will also experience our intentional community governance by consensus if interested in joining in our meetings.

We will provide organic food, accommodation, learning and fellowship, for 6 hours of work per day 5 days per week.

Preferable time range is from April to September, but we are adaptable.
