DDA invites you to become a Community Support Worker in Vancouver, BC, where your contribution truly matters. Support adults with developmental disabilities and engage in fulfilling community activities. In this permanent full-time role with DDA, you’ll help transform the lives of participants through engaging, community-focused programs.
By providing support with daily living activities, you’ll foster independence and build personal relationships with program participants. Your work will have a direct impact on enhancing their quality of life through recreational and vocational activities. Key Responsibilities:
- Create a welcoming program setting for participants
- Assist individuals with daily living and personal care
- Implement individualized support and goal plans
- Lead programs designed for varying abilities
- Facilitate outreach-based community activities Requirements:
- Relevant degree or diploma in social services
- 1-2 years of related experience
- Positive communication skills preferred
- Criminal and medical record clearance
