Duties

- Assist clients with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
- Support clients with medication administration following prescribed schedules and protocols
- Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and assist with feeding when necessary
- Provide companionship and emotional support to promote mental well-being and reduce feelings of isolation
- Perform light housekeeping tasks including cleaning, laundry, and maintaining a safe environment
- Help clients with mobility exercises and transfers to prevent falls and promote physical activity




- Assist with dementia care strategies to ensure safety and comfort for clients experiencing memory challenges
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to monitor client health status and report any concerns promptly

Experience

- Previous experience working in assisted living facilities or nursing homes is highly preferred
- Demonstrated experience providing senior care or home care services
- Familiarity with caregiving duties such as cleaning, meal preparation, and medication management
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities or special needs is advantageous
- Knowledge of dementia care techniques and strategies for supporting clients with cognitive impairments
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients, families, and healthcare professionals
- Ability to handle sensitive situations with empathy, patience, and professionalism
