Job Overview
Presto Pest Solutions is a fast-paced, growing in-house pest management team focusing on multi-residential property owners in Toronto — condos, apartment buildings, and property-managed communities. As our Lead Pest Control Technician, you'll be the primary hands-on expert keeping our partner properties pest-free, working directly within an ongoing, established client relationship rather than juggling one-off calls across unrelated accounts. In this role, you will perform pest inspections, apply treatments, and develop customized pest management plans focused on cockroaches, ants, mice, and bed bugs.
Your proactive approach and attention to detail will ensure secure, effective solutions that keep residents and property managers satisfied. This paid position offers the opportunity to grow into a senior or supervisory role as our in-house team expands to additional properties.
Duties
- Conduct thorough inspections of multi-residential units and common areas to identify pest activity and entry points
- Apply appropriate treatments for cockroaches, ants, mice, and bed bugs using hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment
- Develop tailored pest management plans based on inspection findings and building-specific needs
- Maintain detailed records of treatments administered, chemicals used, and follow-up schedules
- Educate residents and property management staff on pest prevention methods and safety precautions to ensure long-term results
- Coordinate scheduling and access with building staff and property managers for routine and follow-up treatments
- Ensure all safety protocols are followed during application processes to protect residents, yourself, and the environment
- Purchase and maintain stock of all materials, chemicals, and equipment required for pest control operations
Skills
- Minimum 8 years of hands-on pest control experience required.
- Minimum 5 years of experience specifically in high-rise/multi-residential buildings required
- Valid Ontario Structural Exterminator License (or eligibility to obtain one)
- Strong knowledge of pest behaviors, control methods, and safety procedures, particularly for cockroaches, ants, mice, and bed bugs
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and pest control application equipment
- Excellent communication skills to explain treatments clearly to residents and property managers
- Comfortable working independently and managing your own schedule across multiple units/buildings
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, lift equipment, and perform work across varied building environments
- Basic troubleshooting skills for handling unexpected issues with tools or equipment
- Valid driver's license [and reliable vehicle, if applicable]
Join us as one of the founding members of our in-house technician team, working directly with property owners to build long-term pest-free communities. We're committed to providing the training and support you need to excel — plus the opportunity to grow your role as we expand. Pay: $60,000.00-$90,000.00 per year
Work Location: In person
