Position Overview

We are looking for a highly experienced Principal Atlassian Solution Architect to provide hands on technical leadership across presales and client delivery.

This is a senior billable consulting role. The right person will personally lead complex enterprise engagements while designing solutions, producing reliable estimates, supporting presales, reviewing technical work, and mentoring consultants.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead technical discovery and solution design for enterprise customers
- Confidently advise customers on the entire Atlassian System of Work platform across the Strategy, Teamwork, Service, Product, and Software Collections
- Explain how Atlassian Collections, products, and platform applications work together to solve business and technology challenges
- Architect, set up, configure, and optimize Atlassian products based on complex business requirements
- Lead migrations from third party products to the Atlassian platform
- Lead Atlassian Data Center to Cloud migrations
- Design, write, test, and maintain scripts for migrations, integrations, and automations
- Create accurate technical estimates, assumptions, delivery plans, and technical forecasts
- Participate directly in billable client delivery
- Lead technical presales presentations, workshops, demonstrations, and solution design sessions
- Review architectures, migration plans, scripts, forecasts, and technical risks




- Support statements of work and validate proposed technical solutions
- Resolve complex technical escalations
- Mentor consultants and help develop future technical leaders

Required Qualifications

- Must currently reside in Canada and be legally eligible to work in Canada
- Deep hands on Atlassian consulting and solution architecture experience
- Strong knowledge of the complete Atlassian System of Work platform
- Ability to speak confidently about all five Atlassian Collections: Strategy, Teamwork, Service, Product, and Software
- Strong knowledge of Atlassian platform applications and capabilities, including Administration, Rovo, Analytics, Goals, Teams, and related platform services
- Expert knowledge of Jira, Jira Service Management, Confluence, and Atlassian Cloud
- Proven expertise migrating from third party products and platforms to Atlassian
- Proven experience designing and writing scripts for migrations, integrations, and automations
- Expert ability to set up, configure, and optimize Atlassian products based on business requirements
- Proven experience leading complex enterprise implementations and migrations
- Proven experience configuring Atlassian Guard Standard identity and access management, including SAML single sign on and SCIM user provisioning, deprovisioning, and group synchronization with Okta or Microsoft Entra ID




- Ability to independently estimate technical work and identify delivery risks
- Experience supporting both presales and professional services delivery
- Excellent spoken and written English
- Strong documentation, communication, presentation, and client leadership skills
- Exceptional attention to detail, organization, accountability, and follow through
- Must hold at least two current Atlassian Certified Professional (ACP) certifications
- Fully available during US Eastern Time business hours

Preferred Qualifications

- Current Atlassian certifications
- Experience working for an Atlassian Solution Partner
- Experience with enterprise Cloud migrations, integrations, automation, and Atlassian Marketplace applications
- Experience mentoring and reviewing the work of technical consultants
