Taiga Motors is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Senior Buyer to lead the procurement of a portfolio of components in Taiga's supply chain for our electric off-road vehicles. You will play a key role in optimizing the supply chain with a priority on cost, quality, and reliability. Develop and implement a Best Cost Strategy for sourcing powersports components, ensuring optimal cost-efficiency and quality.

Negotiate favorable terms with suppliers, including delivery schedules, pricing, and payment terms to achieve organizational goals. Maintain a strong working knowledge of supply chain providers within the sector to enhance sourcing strategies. Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including engineering, production, and quality assurance, to ensure seamless integration of sourced components into projects.

Strengthen relationships with existing vendors to improve collaboration and foster long-term partnerships. Collaborate with Engineering teams to optimize designs for cost-efficiency and quality, ensuring alignment with project specifications and timelines. Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, or a related field.



~Technical aptitude- ability to read engineering drawings. ~ Proficiency in ERP software and Microsoft Office Suite. ~ Excellent communication in English as you will work with vendors internationally. ~ Ability to work onsite from our facility in Lasalle.
