As the Senior Product Manager, you will be responsible for defining product strategy, shaping product vision, and ensuring product development aligns with Vancitys broader business objectives. Working closely with senior leadership and cross-functional teams, you will analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitive insights to prioritize product enhancements, drive innovation, and maximize business impact.

This is a Full-time, Permanent role based at our Vancity head office and will report directly to the Senior Manager, Banking Products . While this position provides a hybrid work arrangement, you will be expected to be on-site for events and business demands. The remaining content will proceed with correctly formatted sections.

Leading the definition and documentation of business requirements for payments initiatives, translating member, operational, regulatory, and business needs into clear product deliverables. Partnering with business, technology, risk, compliance, and external payments partners to develop requirements that support payment modernization, regulatory compliance, and strategic growth objectives. Developing and refining the product vision and long-term product strategy Analyzing market trends, member needs, competitor activity, and industry developments to inform product decisions Prioritizing product features, enhancements, releases,



and initiatives based on business value, member feedback, and technical feasibility Recommending and executing pricing strategies, market analyses, and product pricing updates Communicating product roadmaps, priorities, and performance updates to senior leadership and key stakeholders Monitoring product performance and identifying opportunities for innovation, optimization, and growth Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Marketing, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline Minimum 8-10 years of progressive experience in product management, product strategy, financial services, or a related field Strong understanding of product lifecycle management, product roadmap development, and prioritization frameworks Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills with the ability to assess market opportunities and product performance Experience using customer insights, data, and research to inform product decisions Professional certifications such as Pragmatic Institute, Certified Product Manager (CPM), SAFe Product Manager, or equivalent are considered an asset Experience within financial services, banking, lending, deposits, or payments products Experience working within agile product delivery environments Strategic – You connect product decisions to business outcomes and long-term organizational goals.

Analytical – You use data, insights, and research to make informed decisions and prioritize opportunities.
