Role Description The Production Coordinator is a full-time, on-site role based in Port Coquitlam, BC. This role is responsible for coordinating daily production activities, including scheduling jobs, monitoring workflow, and ensuring projects are completed on time and within quality standards.
The Production
Coordinator will collaborate with production staff, project managers, and other departments to align priorities, resolve issues, and maintain accurate production records.
Responsibilities include tracking materials and inventory, preparing production reports, supporting continuous improvement initiatives,
and communicating status updates to internal stakeholders. The role also involves assisting with project coordination for custom merchandising solutions and helping implement standard operating procedures to improve efficiency and safety.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Communication skills, including clear verbal and written interactions with production teams and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Candidates should possess Production Planning and Production Management skills to schedule workflows, allocate resources, and meet deadlines in a manufacturing environment.
- Candidates should possess Project Management skills to coordinate multiple orders or custom projects, track progress, and support on-time delivery.
- Candidates should possess Organization Skills to manage documentation, maintain accurate records, and prioritize tasks in a rapid-paced setting.
- Relevant experience in manufacturing, printing, or retail merchandising production is an asset.
- Proficiency with basic office software (e.g., spreadsheets, ERP or production tracking systems) is preferred.
- Ability to work collaboratively on-site, adhere to safety standards, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Secondary school completion required; post-secondary education in operations, supply chain, or a related field is an advantage.
