Sharewares is a Vancouver-based reusable packaging company helping businesses and major events reduce single-use waste. Every week we wash, inspect, package, and deliver thousands of reusable cups and food service items for clients across Metro Vancouver.

Our reusable products support major events, sports venues, festivals, and corporate workplaces throughout the Lower Mainland. As demand continues to grow, we're looking for someone who wants to grow with us.

About The Role

Sharewares is looking for a hands-on Production Team Lead to take ownership of the day-to-day operation of our reusable packaging wash facility.

This is a working leadership position. You'll spend your day alongside the production team while coordinating workflow, maintaining quality and GMP standards, training employees, keeping the facility organized, and making sure daily production is completed safely and efficiently.

We're looking for someone who enjoys both leading people and improving how things work. The right person will also have opportunities to develop experience in GMP, Quality Assurance, SOP development, audit preparation and broader operations management.

Key Responsibilities

Daily Operations & Leaderships

- Lead the production team and coordinate daily workflow and priorities.
- Work alongside the team during washing, sorting, QC, packing and other production activities.
- Assign work and ensure daily production requirements are completed efficiently.
- Train, coach and support team members.
- Address performance or operational issues as they occur and escalate when appropriate.




- Ensure employees follow established procedures, safety requirements and GMP standards.
- Maintain a positive, accountable and productive working environment.

Quality & GMP

- Ensure GMP and Quality Assurance procedures are consistently followed.
- Perform and oversee product QC and production checks.
- Complete and verify required production and quality records.
- Identify quality issues and ensure corrective actions are taken.
- Support SOP implementation and updates.
- Participate in GMP inspections, internal reviews and audit preparation.
- Develop greater responsibility for the facility's GMP and quality systems over time.

Warehouse & Facility Organization

- Maintain a clean, organized and production-ready facility.
- Ensure products, materials, equipment and supplies are stored correctly.
- Maintain clear production and warehouse organization standards.
- Identify potential inventory, equipment or facility issues before they disrupt production.
- Ensure sanitation and housekeeping requirements are consistently completed.

Continuous Improvement

- Identify opportunities to improve workflow, quality, productivity and organization.
- Help develop and improve SOPs, checklists and production processes.
- Participate in process improvement projects and implementation of new systems.
- Help build an operation that is efficient, consistent and less dependent on individual employees.





Operational Coverage

- Provide occasional coverage for other operational duties when required due to employee absences, vacations or exceptional business needs.
- This may occasionally include deliveries, pickups or operational errands.

What We're Looking For

- Previous experience leading employees in production, manufacturing, warehouse or a similar operational environment.
- Comfortable being a hands-on leader who works alongside the team.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to prioritize work and keep a team productive in a changing environment.
- Strong attention to quality and documentation.
- Experience with GMP, HACCP, ISO, pharmaceutical, food, medical device or another regulated production environment is strongly preferred.
- Experience with SOPs, QA/QC, audits or continuous improvement is an asset.
- Comfortable learning new systems and taking increasing ownership over time.
- Valid driver's license and ability to occasionally drive a company vehicle when operational coverage is required.
