The salary range for this position is CAD $30.55/Hr.

- CAD $32.39/Hr. Come work as a Program Administrative Assistant with Vancouver Coastal Health (VCH) on the STOP HIV/AIDS team at Three Bridges Community Health Centre in Vancouver, BC. Within the context of a client centred care model and in accordance with established vision and values of the organization, works as a member of a multidisciplinary community health team, to provide administrative services and program support for Addictions and/or HIV / AIDS Services. Acts as a receptionist, schedules and confirms client appointments, creates and maintains client records, receives and distributes client laboratory reports, and organizes and processes methadone applications. Performs word processing and transcription duties; arranges, attends and takes minutes of meetings, maintains and compiles statistics, assists with research and other special projects, sets up and maintains electronic and paper filing systems, and receives incoming/outgoing material. Maintains inventory of program supplies, arranges for maintenance and repairs to the office and office equipment, operates office equipment, orients recent and relief team members to the administrative policies and procedures, and engages in on-going team planning, and quality improvement activities. Grade 12 supplemented with an approved Medical Office Assistant/Secretarial program and three (3) years' recent related experience, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience. Knowledge of office practices and procedures. Knowledge of and proficiency in relevant software, including word processing, spreadsheet, graphic and database software application. Ability to work with marginalized people struggling with severe illnesses and chemical dependency. Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing. Business writing skills. Successful applicants may be required to complete a Criminal Records Review Check.As per Ministry of Health policy,
