Agilus by Synergie is recruiting for a Project Control Officer (PCO) in the financial services in a hybrid work environment in Toronto, Ontario. Our client is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Project Control Officer (PCO) to support a strategic initiative within a large enterprise environment. Working closely with a Project Manager, you will provide project coordination, reporting, financial tracking, governance support, and overall project administration to help ensure successful project delivery.

Responsibilities:

- Support the Project Manager with project planning, execution, and governance activities
- Maintain project schedules, status reports, action logs, risk registers, and issue logs
- Track project financials, budgets, forecasts, and expenditures
- Coordinate meetings, document decisions, and follow up on action items
- Prepare project documentation and reporting materials for stakeholders
- Monitor project progress and elevate concerns where appropriate




- Assist in managing dependencies and ensuring deliverables are completed on schedule
- Support project governance and reporting requirements

Successful candidates will have:

- Experience working as a Project Control Officer, Project Coordinator, or similar project support role
- Robust organizational and prioritization skills
- Experience supporting project financial management, forecasting, and budget tracking
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and other project management tools
- Ability to work independently and proactively identify opportunities to support project success

Total rewards:$70.00 - $90.00 hourly

Initial 12-month contract
