AEP Ontario is one of Canada’s fastest growing, publicly traded, supplier of trusses, windows, and engineered products, with manufacturing and distribution facilities across the country is hiring a Project Manager to join our amazing team. This position would oversee framing projects from start to finish throughout Eastern Ontario. The role is ideal for someone with strong hands-on framing experience, who understands jobsite coordination and can lead crews while keeping the projects on schedule, on budge and built to a high standard.

You will be the heart of the construction process, working closely with crews, engineers, and management to ensure everything runs smoothly.

The ideal candidate will be flexible, adaptable, detail-oriented and motivated, with a focus on providing a high degree of external and internal customer service while managing day-to-day site operations.

Duties include, but are not limited to:

- Manage framing projects on site from layout through completion
- Travel to construction sites throughout Ontario as required
- Lead and coordinate framing crews and subcontractors to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality installations
- Review and oversee the drawings and the installation of:
- Wood roof trusses
- Floor panels
- Engineered Wood Products (EWP)
- Prefabricated wall panels
- Coordinate with general contractors, site superintendents,



project managers, crane operators and subcontractors.
- Conduct site inspections to verify compliance with plans, specifications, and quality standards
- Monitor project progress and proactively address scheduling, manpower, and materials challenges
- Ensure all work is completed safely and in accordance with Ontario Health and Safety Regulations
- Identify and resolve installation issues, field modifications, and project deficiencies
- Participate in Project planning meetings and provide input on installation sequencing and resource requirements
- Support project closeout activities, deficiency corrections, and customer satisfaction initiatives

Qualifications and Experiences

- Minimum 5 years of experience in framing supervision, foreman or construction management roles
- Demonstrated experience installing and managing project involving
- Wood trusses
- Floor panels
- Engineered Wood Products (EWP)
- Wall panels
- Solid understanding of wood-frame construction methods and building practices
- Proven experience leading and coordinating framing crews on active construction sites
- Strong organizational, leadership and communication skills
- Must have proven experience troubleshooting onsite issues and making quick,



concise decisions that allow projects to maintain a fast-paced and efficient work environment.
- Must have a strong working knowledge of Ontario health and safety requirements and ensure all AEP crews and subcontractors consistently comply with applicable regulations and company safety standards.
- Must have a keen eye for quality workmanship and hold crews accountable for maintaining AEP’s premium quality standards on every project.
- Experience managing project schedules, manpower and site logistics
- Working knowledge of Ontario construction and safety regulations
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Willingness and ability to travel extensively throughout Ontario and stay overnight when required.
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)

Pay: $40.00-$50.00 per hour
