What you'll do: Reporting to the Director, Enterprise Delivery, the Project Manager is responsible for planning, managing and leading medium to large IT, business improvement, and change management projects.

Manager will work closely with senior leadership and be part of a dynamic team working in a product driven environment.

The Project

Manager is responsible for planning and managing all aspects of project execution including timelines, budgets, internal resourcing, external vendors, business and customer change management, issue tracking, risk management, and status reporting.

Key Responsibilities: Using a mixture of agile and hybrid project management methodologies and processes, the Project Manager ensures projects are delivered on time and on budget while meeting business requirements and stakeholder expectations. 1.

Project Planning and Facilitation: Facilitate and lead the development of comprehensive project plans that outline objectives, scope, budget, schedule, milestones, resources, and risks and cover all aspects of the project including both the technical implementation and all business transition and change management activities 2.

Leadership and Execution Lead the execution of projects in a matrixed environment, ensuring timelines and milestones are met by coordinating efforts across multi-disciplinary teams

Understand organizational dynamics and influence outcomes accordingly

Foster effective communication and collaboration among project team members 3.

Documentation and Governance: Prepare and maintain essential project management documentation, including the project charter, project plan, governance plan, organizational change management plan, risk and issues management plans, and other associated documents

Ensure all documentation is current and accessible to relevant stakeholders 4.

Monitoring and Control: Establish and tailor project controls and track adherence to them, ensuring they drive project success

Identify,



manage, report, and escalate project issues and risks to achieve timely resolution

Prepare and present regular status reports to senior management, highlighting project progress, risks, and issues in a transparent manner 5.

Stakeholder Management and Communication: Navigate complex stakeholder and decision-making structures to effect project delivery and change activities

Leverage different communication styles and adapt communication based on context and audience needs

Maintain open lines of communication with all stakeholders to ensure transparency and alignment

Organize, facilitate, and document results of kick-off meetings and workshops for individual project tasks 6.

Change Management: Develop and implement customer and organizational change management plans, including change assessments, sponsorship plans, business needs, stakeholder engagement, and communication strategies

Lead the organization through transitions, ensuring smooth adoption of changes 7.

Resource Management: Assess staffing or consultant needs and secure resource approvals in collaboration with business owners

Lead the scheduling and work with resource managers to facilitate the assignment of resources to align project requirements with business goals and objectives 8.

Project Management Best Practices: Contribute to the ongoing development and improvement of project management best practices and tools for the organization We encourage you to apply if you have: Education and Experience Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration,



or comparable alternative

Minimum of 8 years experience in managing complex, time sensitive projects with diverse requirements

Track record of managing $8-10M projects successfully to completion with satisfied stakeholders

Experience with business analysis, agile methodologies, organizational change management preferred

PMP certification or equivalent preferred

Prosci change management certification preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Strong knowledge of various project management methodologies and tools and the ability to tailor methodologies as needed for individual projects

Able to build trust within the organization by establishing strong credibility, accountability, and ethics

Strong facilitation skills along with the ability to listen, influence, and drive to results

Demonstrated ability to manage multiple, often conflicting priorities to successful completion

Excellent verbal, presentation and written communication skills

Able to communicate effectively with all styles of managers, staff, and consultants from a broad range of disciplines, backgrounds, and geographic locations

Able to adapt influencing style based on different situations, contexts, and organizational cultures

Demonstrates transparency and personal accountability

Self-starter, able to independently balance multiple priorities under pressure and deadlines

Ability to identify change opportunities and drive and manage change within the organization without direct authority

Solid analytical and problem-solving skills with aptitude for accuracy and details A ‘get it done’ attitude and ownership for tasks from inception to completion A lifelong learner who is constantly striving to develop professionally

Experience developing and tailoring project management processes and tools for an organization would be an asset

Knowledge of real property management and GIS would be an asset
