About Our Client

Our client provides services to 21 Municipalities, one Electoral Area, and one treaty First Nation. They are currently looking for an Property Management Clerk on a full time temporary basis to join their Housing Financial Operations team in Burnaby from September 14th, 2026, until October 16th, 2026, with the possibility of extension. The shifts run from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, Monday to Friday, and the wage will be at a rate of $31.58 an hour.

This is a 100% in-office position located at 4515 Central Blvd, Burnaby, BC, conveniently located across the street from Metrotown SkyTrain Station.

Responsibilities

Processing payments through various methods, including cheques, direct debit, and cash

Adjusting and maintaining tenant ledgers with a high level of accuracy

Reconciling financial data and investigating discrepancies

Performing accurate data entry and maintaining financial records

Generating reports and assisting with financial reporting as required

Maintaining organized paper and electronic filing systems

Using Microsoft Office programs, including Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and MS Teams

Providing customer service and responding to inquiries in a professional manner

Managing multiple tasks and competing priorities in a fast-paced office environment

Performing various clerical and administrative duties as required





Performing other related tasks and providing support to the Housing Financial Operations team as needed

Qualifications

Must have relevant administrative or clerical experience

Accounts receivable or payment processing experience would be an asset

Strong experience processing payments and maintaining or adjusting ledger entries

Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and MS Teams

Strong data entry, clerical, and record-keeping skills

Excellent attention to detail and accuracy

Strong organizational and time-management skills

Ability to reconcile financial information and investigate discrepancies A self-starter and multitasker who takes initiative

Can perform well under pressure in a fast-paced office environment

Strong customer service and interpersonal skills

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a high level of accuracy
