Position Overview

Canadian Health Providers Clinic is seeking a Registered Psychologist to join our multidisciplinary healthcare team. The successful candidate will provide psychological assessments, evidence-based treatment, clinical reporting, and rehabilitation services to patients with a variety of mental health and accident-related concerns.

Experience working with motor vehicle accident (MVA) patients and Ontario Statutory Accident Benefits claims is strongly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and clinical interviews.
- Assess and diagnose psychological conditions within the psychologist's scope of practice.
- Provide evidence-based individual psychotherapy and psychological interventions.
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings.
- Treat conditions including anxiety, depression, PTSD, trauma-related disorders, adjustment disorders, chronic pain, and other psychological concerns.
- Monitor treatment progress and adjust treatment plans as clinically appropriate.
- Conduct reassessments and provide recommendations regarding ongoing treatment.
- Provide psychoeducation to patients regarding their symptoms, diagnosis, coping strategies, and treatment options.

OCF-18 & MVA-Related Responsibilities
- Prepare and complete OCF-18 Treatment and Assessment Plans where applicable.
- Develop clinically appropriate treatment recommendations and supporting rationales.
- Provide psychological opinions regarding treatment needs, prognosis, and functional limitations.
- Prepare documentation required for MVA/insurance claims.




- Communicate with insurers, case managers, legal representatives, and other stakeholders when clinically appropriate and authorized.
- Participate in multidisciplinary rehabilitation planning for accident-related patients.

Clinical Documentation
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical records.
- Prepare psychological assessment reports, treatment summaries, progress reports, discharge reports, and other clinical documentation.
- Ensure documentation meets professional college standards and applicable privacy legislation.
- Maintain appropriate records of consent, assessment findings, treatment, outcomes, and recommendations.

Qualifications
- Registered and in positive standing with the College of Psychologists and Behaviour Analysts of Ontario (CPBAO) or applicable regulatory body.
- Master's or Doctoral degree in Psychology from a recognized institution.
- Authorized to independently provide psychological services within the province.
- Experience conducting psychological assessments and providing psychotherapy.
- Strong clinical writing and documentation skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team.
- Experience with MVA rehabilitation, OCF-18s, trauma, or insurance-based clinical services is an asset.
