Responsibilitiesinclude

Ensure project team adherence to Stuart Olsons Quality Management System

Perform multi-discipline field inspections and verify product quality

Review technical documentation (e.g., drawings, specifications) to support field execution

Conduct inspections of welding activities, verifying compliance with approved welding procedures

Prepare Nondestructive Examination (NDE) requests and review NDE Reports.

Assist in the development and execution of Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), including identifying hold/witness points and securing client approvals

Qualifications

CWB Level 2 welding inspector certification (required)

3-5 years experience in the maintenance or construction industry

Journeyman trade designation an asset

Welding Engineering Technology (WET) or Materials Engineering Technology (MET) an asset

Experience working with regulatory authorities (TSBC, ABSA, TSASK, ITSM)





Excellent computer skills with a working knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite of products and Bluebeam Revu

Pre-access Drug and Alcohol test

Required Safety Tickets

Energy Safety Canada H2S Alive

CSTS 2020, CSTS 09 or PST

Energy Safety Canada Confined Space

Energy Safety Canada Fall Protection

Able to work under SBA mask preferred

Pre-Access Drug and Alcohol testing

Working Conditions & Physical Requirements

Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions, including at heights, in confined spaces, and around noise and dust

Physically capable of standing, walking, climbing ladders and scaffolding, and lifting up to 50 lbs. (or more with assistance)

Must be clean shaven and able to wear required PPE, including steel-toed safety boots and respiratory protection as required by site policies.
