About The Role We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of product quality and reliability.
Your expertise will support our continuous improvement initiatives by troubleshooting product failures, designing testing procedures, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement corrective actions. As part of our quality assurance efforts, you will play a key role in maintaining customer satisfaction and fostering innovation within our product development lifecycle. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge technology solutions in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.
Qualifications Successful candidates will possess a strong educational background and relevant experience in quality assurance or engineering roles. A bachelor's or master's degree in Mechatronics, Electronics Engineering Technology, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering is required.
Candidates should have a minimum of 3-5 years of experience working in quality-related functions, with a proven track record of troubleshooting and root cause analysis. Legal authorization to work in Canada without sponsorship is essential.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot product failures by analyzing data and identifying root causes to prevent recurrence.
- Develop, write, and execute comprehensive test plans to validate product performance and reliability.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to implement corrective and preventive actions based on failure analyses.
- Provide Non-Conformance Reports (NCR) and 8D reports to document issues and drive resolution processes.
- Communicate technical updates and findings to customers, ensuring transparency and support throughout the resolution process.
- Design and develop test fixtures and software solutions to streamline testing procedures and improve efficiency.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives by analyzing data trends and implementing process enhancements.
- Review technical drawings, inspection plans, and product specifications to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Support manufacturing processes, including CNC machining, injection molding, welding, and surface treatments, by providing quality oversight.
- Utilize testing equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, and analyzers to evaluate electro-mechanical components.
