Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate RCA (Resident Care Associate) to join our team and provide exceptional care to our residents. This vital role involves supporting individuals with diverse needs, including senior care, dementia care, hospice care, and individuals with disabilities. The ideal candidate will bring energy, empathy, and a proactive approach to ensuring residents’ well-being and comfort.

Responsibilities
- Assist residents with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility to promote independence and dignity
- Provide patient care that includes medication administration, meal preparation, and light cleaning to maintain a secure and comfortable living environment
- Support residents with dementia or cognitive impairments through specialized caregiving techniques
- Help with mobility and heavy lifting tasks safely to prevent injury for both residents and staff
- Document resident conditions, care provided, and any changes in health status accurately and promptly
- Collaborate with nursing staff to ensure proper medication management and adherence to care plans
- Engage residents in social activities and companionship to enhance their emotional well-being
Skills
- Prior experience in assisted living, nursing homes, or home care settings is highly preferred
- Strong understanding of patient care principles, especially within senior or hospice environments
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities or dementia is advantageous
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and handle physical caregiving tasks effectively
- Excellent communication skills to interact compassionately with residents, families, and team members
- Knowledge of medication administration procedures and safety protocols
- Capable of maintaining cleanliness standards through light cleaning duties and organizing resident spaces
