Position Summary

Reporting to the Site Administrator, the Reception Assistant provides reception, administrative, and clerical support to the site. The incumbent serves as the first point of contact for residents, families, staff, volunteers, and visitors while supporting the day-to-day operations of the office in accordance with Covenant Care's Mission, Vision, and Values.

Collaborate effectively as a skilled team player, supporting the achievement of Covenant’s Mission, Vision, and Values Key Responsibilities Provide reception and front desk services, including answering and directing telephone calls and responding to inquiries
Welcome and assist residents, families, volunteers, visitors,
and community partners
Provide administrative and clerical support to the Site Administrator and Leadership Team
Prepare correspondence, reports, forms, and other documents
Maintain accurate records, filing systems, and confidential information
Support general office operations, including data entry, filing, and document management.
Coordinate incoming and outgoing mail and communications
Maintain a professional, organized, and welcoming reception area
Perform other duties as assigned Major Qualifications Grade 12 diploma with post-secondary administrative training
Minimum 2-3 years of administrative experience in a healthcare or related setting;
experience in supportive living or hospice is preferred
Intermediate to advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
Experience with Dayforce or other HRIS systems is an asset
Courteous and professional when assisting residents, families, volunteers, visitors, and staff
Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
Ability to prioritize work, manage multiple tasks, and work independently
Ability to work effectively under pressure and respond calmly in stressful situations
Experience working with seniors is an asset
Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities while maintaining a positive attitude
