Company Description Mindful Mental Health is a psychotherapy practice serving children, youth, adults, couples, and families with compassionate, evidence-based, and individualized mental health care. The team specializes in working with the neurodivergent community and provides Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) alongside psychotherapy, group programming, and other specialized therapeutic services. Clients are supported with concerns such as anxiety, depression, trauma, emotional regulation, neurodivergence, relationship challenges, and life transitions.

Role Description This part-time, on-site Registered Behaviour Analyst role is based at our clinic in Whitby, ON.
The Registered Behaviour
Analyst will conduct functional and behavioral assessments, develop individualized ABA treatment plans, and implement evidence-based interventions for neurodivergent clients and those with diverse behavioral needs. Day-to-day responsibilities include data collection and analysis, monitoring progress, adjusting treatment protocols, and collaborating with psychotherapists and other team members to ensure integrated, client-centered care. The role involves supervising and training ABA therapists or support staff, maintaining accurate documentation,
and ensuring ethical practice in line with professional standards and regulatory requirements.
The Registered Behaviour
Analyst will also engage with families and caregivers, offering education, guidance, and support to promote consistency across home, school, and community settings.
Qualifications
- Certification as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) or equivalent, with registration or eligibility for registration with relevant provincial regulatory bodies.
- Applied Behaviour Analysis expertise, including functional assessment, behavior intervention planning, and data-driven treatment design and evaluation.
- Experience working with neurodivergent children, youth, and adults, particularly individuals with autism spectrum disorder and related developmental or behavioral needs.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams and to support families, caregivers, and community partners.
- Ability to maintain detailed clinical documentation, uphold ethical standards, and follow evidence-based practices in line with professional guidelines.
- Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Education, or a related field preferred; prior clinical experience in mental health or ABA settings is an asset.
- Demonstrated commitment to inclusive, trauma-informed, and culturally responsive care, with a client-centered and strengths-based approach.
- Availability for part-time, on-site work in Whitby, ON, and willingness to participate in ongoing professional development and supervision.
