The Registered Health Care Aide (HCA) is a vital member of Golden Home Caregivers Corp. reporting directly to the Care Manager. The HCA provides hands-on personal care and support to clients, assisting with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility. They are also responsible for monitoring clients' conditions and promptly reporting any changes to the Care Manager.
This role includes medication assistance in accordance with company policy while upholding qualified standards and always respecting the dignity, privacy, and autonomy of each client. This role will have live-in arrangement with one client and will have opportunities to work with other clients.

Qualifications and Experience:
- Active registration with the College of LPNs and HCA and valid practice permit is required. Those with ongoing HCA registration application may be considered.
Applicants who have equivalent health care-related academic program and committed to get registered may also be consdiered.
- Must be able to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
- Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle are required
Experience:
- Experience in a home care setting or related health care facility is an asset.
- Familiarity with caring for seniors or clients with complex care needs is a plus.
- Experience in providing companionship or support to individuals is preferred.
Job Types: Part-time, Casual Pay: $18.00-$23.00 per hour
