DAY SURGERY/PACU PART-TIME REASON TO POST: DIRECT REPLACEMENT Reporting to the Manager Surgical Services, the responsibility of the registered nurse is the promotion of health and the assessment of, the provision of care of, and the treatment of health conditions by supportive, preventative, therapeutic, measures to adults and children during phase I and II recovery within the perianesthesia setting in Day Surgery and PACU.

Ontario

College of Nurses registration or eligibility Minimum 2 years PACU and acute care nursing experience within the past 5 years Broad surgical experience required in all subspecialties Successful completion of Post Anaesthetic Course within the last 3 years Coronary Care Certificate I or equivalent Demonstrated computer skills in MS Outlook and Cerner applications (Powerchart and Surginet)
