The salary range for this position is CAD $41.42 - $59.52 per hour. Royal Columbian Hospital Redevelopment

Project (RCHRP) The RCHRP is a multi-year, multi-phase project to increase the hospital's capacity, beds and services. Generous vacation time – up to four weeks annually Immediate pension enrollment in the municipal pension plan The Registered Nurse provides direct patient care in acute inpatient areas, in accordance with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives standards and Fraser Health’s mission and values. Nursing duties include assessing, planning, delivering, and evaluating nursing care and participating in interprofessional team activities.

Asses patients, conduct physical assessment, and develop nursing interventions. Collaborate with patients and families to develop care plans and promote participation. Coordinate admission and discharge planning,



updating plans as needed.

Collaborate with physicians, LPNs, Patient Care Coordinators, Clinical Nurse Educators, and other health professionals to resolve issues and adapt care plans. Educate patients and families on illness prevention, health restoration, and maintenance. Arrange referrals to health care and community agencies.

Participate in nursing committees, care conferences and councils. Conduct research and quality improvement activities. Serve as preceptor or mentor for new staff and students. Provide feedback to management on patient care programs and equipment.

Graduated from an approved School of Nursing with current RN registration with the BCCNM. Ability to perform initial and ongoing patient assessment and deliver nursing care. Effective communication with patients, families, public, medical staff, and team members.

Ability to promote person‑centered care with empathy and cultural sensitivity. Strong problem‑solving skills integrating data from multiple sources. Operational competence with related equipment and computer applications.
