END DATE FEBRUARY 2028) REASON TO POST: DIRECT REPLACEMENT Reporting to the site Manager, the Registered Practical Nurse is responsible for the promotion of health and the assessment of, the provision of care of, and the treatment of health conditions by supportive, preventative, therapeutic, palliative and rehabilitative means to patients in order to attain or maintain optimal function.

Registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario or eligibility Willingness and ability to work in Emergency as required Ability and willingness to escort patients via ambulance services when required Ability and willingness to work in a team environment and contribute to continuous quality improvement Ability and willingness to work all shifts Basic computer knowledge Participation in staff meetings and unit specific projects Communication and collaboration skills with patients, families and other healthcare professionals Recent satisfactory performance and attendance records Adherence to Brightshores ‘CARE’ Behaviours (Collaboration, Accountability, Respect, Excellence) and ‘LEAD’ Competencies (Lead by example, Empower, Achieve results, Develop others) and a commitment to a safe workplace free of violence and harassment Palliative Care Experience Two years recent medical surgical experience #
