We are looking for an organized and guest-focused Reservations Supervisor to support our team at Chateau Nova Yellowknife (4571- 48 Street Yellowknife, NWT X1A 0E2).

The Reservations

Supervisor coordinates the day-to-day work of the reservations team, helps ensure bookings are handled accurately and efficiently, and works closely with other hotel departments to provide a smooth experience for our guests. Assist employees with complex reservations, guest concerns and operational issues. Coordinate with Front Office, Sales, Housekeeping and other hotel departments regarding reservations, room requirements and guest needs.

Train employees in reservation procedures, hotel policies, guest service standards and use of reservation systems. Help ensure the smooth operation of reservation and property-management systems and report system or equipment issues. Assist with individual and group reservations as required and perform reservation duties during busy periods.

Support the onboarding and training of new reservations employees.



Previous experience working in hotel reservations, front desk, guest services or a similar accommodation services position is required. Related college coursework in hospitality, tourism or accommodation services is an asset.

Robust knowledge of reservation systems, property-management systems and general computer applications. Strong customer service, communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to prioritize work and coordinate activities with multiple hotel departments.

Ability to work a flexible schedule based on operational requirements, including weekends and holidays when required.
