Under the direction of the Wellness Manager, the Resident Attendant is responsible and accountable for providing optimum recreation and wellness services in order to promote the well-being of each individual resident.

Resident Care & Observation: Observe, report, and document any changes in residents' health or status.

Compliance & Safety: Adhere to all facility policies, safety protocols, and infection control standards.



This includes complying with the Ontario Occupational Health and Safety Act and participating in mandatory training and safety/orientation programs.

Facility Maintenance: Ensure the cleanliness of the lodge, report maintenance needs or hazards, and maintain resident equipment and records. Foster effective communication and collaboration with other departments.

Community Engagement: Assist visitors and volunteers, and conduct tours for potential residents.
