Job Summary The Sales Associate is responsible for providing prompt, courteous, and efficient service to customers. This includes advising customers on appropriate merchandise, tools, and supplies. The Associate should be familiar with products, pricing, ordering and merchandising. Training can be provided on site. The role requires assisting customers with product selection, related product requirements, ordering and merchandising.

Duties

Provide outstanding customer service by assisting customers with product inquiries and recommendations.

Handle cash/charge transactions accurately and efficiently, ensuring all sales are processed correctly.

Proactively identify sales opportunities, while referring customers to other departments

Maintain an organized and visually appealing sales floor, including ordering. receiving and restocking merchandise.

Utilize effective phone etiquette to assist customers over the phone with inquiries or orders.

Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and enhance overall store performance.

Stay informed about product knowledge, promotions, and industry trends to better assist customers.

Support technical sales efforts by understanding product specifications and applications.





Participate in ongoing personal training and development

Manage invoicing and follow up for payments

Contribute to the continuously evolving demands of the job and participate in specials projects as required.

Requirements:

Excellent interpersonal skills with a focus on building relationships with customers.

A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

A genuine interest in helping customers find the right products for their needs.
