Retail Store Department Head

Supervise and co‑ordinate activities of workers, hire and train or arrange for training of staff, order merchandise, establish work schedules, sell merchandise, resolve issues that may arise, including customer requests, complaints and supply shortages, organize and maintain inventory.

Support for Youths

- Offers on‑the‑job training tailored to youth
- Offers mentorship, coaching and/or networking opportunities for youth
- Provides awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for youth

Supervision

Retail salespersons and sales clerks.

Work Site Environment

First Nations settlements.

Work Setting

- Rural area
- Remote location, willing to relocate
- No fly‑in/fly‑out, or rotational arrangements available
- Supermarket/grocery store
- Work must be completed at the physical location; no option to work remotely.

Education

Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.

Experience

1 to less than 2 years.

Wage

$51,400 per year.
