The RM of Snipe Lake No. 259 is looking for a capable and self-directed individual to fill a unique shared-time role. This position covers two important areas of rural service: overseeing and managing the local rural water pipeline, and coordination of joint RM/Town committees along with general RM duties. If you are someone who takes ownership of your work and thrives with variety and independence, we want to hear from you.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the rural water pipeline and coordinate pipeline committee meetings — scheduling, agendas, minutes, and follow-up on action items
- Coordinate joint RM No. 259 and Town committee meetings — scheduling, agendas, minutes, and follow-through on action items
- Perform general RM administrative duties as assigned
What We’re Looking For
- Self-motivated — able to manage your own workload and priorities without close supervision
- Sound judgment, with the ability to demonstrate initiative, set priorities, manage time effectively, and follow through to meet deadlines independently
- Solid organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities at once
- Background in administration, rural utilities, municipal operations, or a related field would be an asset
- Familiarity with rural Saskatchewan municipal processes is considered an asset
