Schools invites applications for the following position: S2627-43 Child Development Counselor - Bonnyville/Cold Lake Region Northern Lights Public Schools is seeking a Full time (1.0 FTE) Child Development Counselor for the Bonnyville and Cold Lake Region. TheChild Development Counselor will serve as part of the Student Support Services Team. The successfulapplicant will work proactively to enhance student well-being, resiliency,



and academic success by providing direct support, assisting in the development of programs, and connecting students and families with appropriate resources.

Duties of the Child Development Counselor will include: Provide programming assistance to students with social and/or behavioral needs Travel to and work with multiple schools and school settings within a specified area Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, Psychology or related field is considered an asset Between 1-3 years supporting youth in an inclusive education setting is considered an asset The successful application will be required to obtain a criminal records check.
